This sounds a lot like my life, only mine wasn't quite so traumatic. Always was shy and with my nose in a book as a child. Collage was a challenge. Then when I was almost 40, I met the man who forced me to get out of my shell. The first time I escorted him to a concert, meeting the crowd afterwards, I wouldn't let go of his arm. In the days working up to a performance (for him), I would be sick to my stomach, couldn't sleep, and be shaking all over on the way there. The thing that really helped me out was a homeopathic medicine called "argentum nicitrum" which really calmed me down with no side effects. There are others too, but that's the one that worked for me. I got used to "gigging". Everything is better with practice. Now if I could just get over dealing with the medical profession. I have a lifetime of disasters with them, and the homeos have improved those experiences at all. Maybe it's them and not me!! :-)

I just loved this story. So thought provoking. Most of us don't stop and look at the limitations that we imposed on ourselves. And yet the first step to get past those limitations is to know what are they. Thank you for sharing kimberlee
