After decades of bad choices and relationships, Helen Neal-Ali realized only she could release herself from her troubled childhood. Now she helps others do the same.
Beautiful woman, Carrie. It takes a great deal of courage to survive and continue. To be able to help others in the same boat is most admirable! This is so well written!
Interestingly, I following an online series about trauma. One of the things that has stuck in my head is that it's not WHAT happens on the outside that is the important thing, but HOW it effects you on the inside. Two people can experience the same thing and react totally differently to it. So glad this woman found peace and and purpose in life.
Beautiful and bittersweet, and masterfully written. Thanks for sharing Carrie.
Thanks for sharing your heartening story, Helen. I heard part of it at SRQ and it was good to hear again.
Once again you have told a very important story. Thanks 🙏
